Cape Cod Sailing
When the Liberté is in Cape Cod in the summer, we’re located on a unique corner that is a complete Cape Cod experience in one stop. Besides sailing, you can fish with Patriot Party Boats and enjoy some of the area’s best fried clams at the Clam Shack. The Karen Rinaldo Gallery has expanded to include souvenirs and trinkets that showcase the Cape.
Our location at the mouth of Falmouth harbor means that when we get underway, the sails go up quickly. Depending on the wind and tide, we may head west to Woods Hole; near Nobska Lighthouse are some wonderful old houses which can only be seen from the water. Beyond that are the Elizabeth Islands, the undeveloped emeralds of the New England coastline.
If we are beckoned south, we’ll arrive in the vicinity of Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven on Martha’s Vineyard, home to some magnificent antique sailing ships and enormous summer cottages of the 1920’s. To the east are the bluffs of Falmouth Heights and the pure beaches and nature sanctuary of Waquoit Bay.
OPEN DAYSAILS
The Liberté runs a regular schedule of three sails per day, seven days per week (weather permitting). Since the cruise is dictated by wind and tide, no two trips are alike. The captain always seeks to make it the best sail possible. There is a short presentation on the history of the boat and the Cape and Islands followed by questions. The cash bar is always available.
PRIVATE CHARTERS
For your special event, the Liberté offers a unique venue with stunning scenery and exceptional service. We serve your catering and drinks while you enjoy the party with your guests. There are custom cushions for your comfort and a stereo system with device hookup for your enjoyment. From birthdays, weddings and rehearsal dinners, to client appreciation, company outings and family reunions, it will be the celebration they’ll talk about for years to come.
